With the release of the JAC Delhi 2026 Round 1 allotment results, the first mandatory task for all allotted candidates is paying the Seat Acceptance Fee of ₹95,000. Because this is a large transaction, bank transaction limits and gateway overloads often cause payment failures. If you fail to pay this fee before your physical verification day deadline, your seat will be cancelled and you will be out of the counselling. Here is how to complete this transaction safely.

JAC Delhi offers online payment gateways for seat acceptance. You can choose from the following options:
- Internet Banking (Highly Recommended): This is the most secure and reliable payment option for high-value transactions. Make sure your account has transaction limits set above ₹95,000 before initiating.
- Credit Card: A fast and reliable option. Ensure that your card has an active domestic e-commerce limit of at least ₹95,000 and that you have not exceeded your credit limit.
- Debit Card: Daily purchase limit of ₹25,000 or ₹50,000 on daily debit card transaction is default for most banks. You must log in to your bank app (like HDFC, SBI, ICICI) to temporarily raise your daily online purchase limit to ₹1,00,000 before paying.
- UPI: Generally not recommended for transaction values above ₹50,000 due to daily bank-specific UPI limits (usually capped at ₹1,00,000, but many banks limit single transfers to ₹25,000 or ₹50,005).
Step-by-Step Payment Instructions
- Log in to the official JAC Delhi 2026 Portal using your JEE Main Application Number and Password.
- Click on the "Seat Allotment Result" link to view your allocated college and branch.
- If allotted a seat, click on "Pay Seat Acceptance Fee".
- Select your preferred payment gateway. (The gateways are generic; you can use any bank card or netbanking on any gateway).
- Follow the prompt to enter your banking details. Do not refresh the page or click the back button during processing.
- Once payment succeeds, download and print your Fee Receipt. You will need to bring 3 copies of this receipt to your physical verification venue.
Troubleshooting Transaction Failures
Do not panic. High network loads can delay bank-to-portal confirmation. Follow these steps:
1. Wait 30–60 Minutes: Check the portal again. Gateway reconciliations occur automatically.
2. Do Not Pay Immediately Again: Check your bank statement first. If the money was debited, wait for reconciliation. Making multiple payments might block your funds.
3. Contact Helpdesk: If the status is not updated within 2 hours, send an email to the JAC Delhi helpdesk with your JEE Main Application Number, transaction ID, bank reference number, and a screenshot of the debit SMS/passbook.
Refund & Seat Withdrawal Rules
If you decide to withdraw from the counselling process after paying the seat acceptance fee, you can request a refund:
- Withdrawal Window: Online seat withdrawal is available until July 12, 2026 (10:30 PM).
- Refund Amount: If you withdraw within the deadline, you will receive a full refund of ₹95,000 (minus a small processing charge of around ₹1,000).
- Late Withdrawal: No refund requests will be accepted after the deadline under any circumstances, and the fee will be forfeited.
